Payson Arizona

Saturday morning began with a trip to Payson Farmers' Market on a Saturday morning, just on the way to my first day of school.

North of Payson is the Mogollon Rim, a peak over 2,000 feet above sea level and the highest point in Arizona. This 208 hectare lake is located at the foot of a steep gorge and houses many cold water lakes that are located on the edge. If you just want to sit in the shade and look out over the water, it is a short drive away. No trip to P Grayson would be complete without a visit to one of the country's most popular attractions, Great Salt Lake.

The State Route 87 Beeline Highway runs 140 km southwest of Phoenix to Phoenix along the Colorado River. From the red rocks of Sedona to New Mexico, this huge slope stretches for 200 miles and forms the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau.

To reach this beautiful viewpoint, follow Highway 260, which runs east from Payson, for approximately one and a half miles before turning left onto Forest Road 300. To reach the remote Bear Canyon Lake, turn right onto the freeway and continue for a few miles, then turn left at the intersection to reach Forest Road 300, also known as Rim Road.

Thousands of years - ancient fossils protrude from the water of Bear Canyon Lake, a small lake in Payson, Arizona. The fossils were found in exposed Paleozoic layers in the upper part of a large lake at the foot of Bears Canyon.

Work on a paved road from Phoenix to Payson continued in the 1950s and was completed in 1958. The Arizona Mineral Belt Railroad dug a tunnel at the bottom of Bears Canyon to allow ore to be transported.

In 1999 the huts were moved again to Green Valley Park and rebuilt on the museum grounds at South Green Valley Parkway 700. The three properties are located in what is now Payson Historic District, a historic neighborhood in the heart of the city.

Besides the pool, there are other family-friendly attractions in the park that the whole family can enjoy. Even those who do not play will still appreciate the area with its many activities for children, including playgrounds, a playground and even a basketball court.

If you're lucky enough to call Payson at home, the views of Mogollon Rock are sure to take your breath away. As we continue to offer destinations that make our state wonderful, please take the right precautions and add them to your bucket list at a later date.
